In 2010, Sheriff Roger Deeds and his staff started the Charity Team Bass Tournament. This tournament benefits the Hood and Somervell Counties Child Advocacy Center.
The 2010 tournament was the first day of fishing on the Squaw Creek Lake. It was a great success. We were able to raise approximately $20,325 for the Center.
This year the tournament will be held on March 10, 2012, at Squaw Creek Lake. The 2012 tournament will benefit the Hood, Erath, and Somervell Counties Child Advocacy Centers.
