EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS

Hood County has many ways to notify citizens in the event of an emergency.

Code Red - A method used to notify specific areas of an emergency.

Outdoor Warning Sirens - These sirens are intended to notify citizens of an emergency, who may be outside. If you hear the sirens please go inside and monitor local media/weather radio.

Local Media - Radio, Television, Websites have current emergency alerts.

Weather Radio - National Weather Service uses this to notify citizens of weather related emergencies.
